Our Journey & Achievements

A Legacy of Research, A Future of Innovation

New Humanitarian Knowledge Research is a scholarly and knowledge-building project that seeks to widen the horizons of academic research, make knowledge openly available to readers and researchers, and renew the practice of scholarly publishing in step with digital transformation and artificial intelligence.

The journal began within the Global Humanitarian Pivot for Development and Research and has continued its institutional development under Digital Al-Jazari for Artificial Intelligence and Research Innovation (DJAIRI). It builds on an institutional journey that began in 2015 and on a renewed ambition to offer a more flexible and open model of scholarly publishing.

  • Academic peer review under approved procedures.
  • Human scholarly and editorial responsibility.
